", weekly magazine in Romania (political satire). Author of more than 1200
articles. Ph.D. in Psychology, Moderator of ' Oh, my press!', a weekly TV show,
broadcasted on Realitatea TV.
Liana is part of
MMA from 1997. She started by coordinating one of the most complex and important
programs of the Agency – ‘FreeEx – Freedom of Expression’.
This year, Liana decided to change both the climate and education, by taking
a scholarship in human rights studies. After one year in London, Liana will
come back to complete the MMA team.
Razvan
MARTIN
Program Officer
After one year experience in Berlin as a volunteer for the European Commission's program 'CIVITAS Initiative Against Racism and Right Wing Extremism', Razvan has finally landed in MMA. After 2 years of apprenticeship in the Agency, he finally found his place (at least, for the time being) by coordinating in the present, FreeEx program.
Ramona LUPU
Public Relations Manager
Contributing staff member and consultant on several programs for internationally respected educational and human rights organisations, including Council of Europe, Johns Hopkins University Bologna Center, OSCE / ODIHR, Ramona is the key engine for the progressive media campaigns of MMA. Apart from management of media events, her work within the Agency includes support with the co-ordination of programs relating minorities or/and European Union outlooks.
Ciprian
NECULA
Program Manager
With a BA in Social Sciences, Ciprian is currently a senior undergraduated student in Political Sciences. He is coordinating programs on national minorities, anti-fascism, anti-racism. Expert of Council of Europe in Republic of Moldova and Expert on National Minorities Isuess at OSCE/ODIHR. Author of reports about electoral participation and migration of Roma people from South East Europe.
Nicoleta
FOTIADE
Monitoring Coordinator
BA in Journalism. Nicoleta coordinates the research and media analysis programs
which focus on political actors’ media coverage, human rights (the image
of the minorities in mass media), the way corruption cases are reported in the
Romanian press, etc. She is also involved into the MMA’s programs on education
(she coordinates Mediasis – Media Integrated System for High school, a
project that introduced the optional subject and the manual “Competence
into mass media” in high schools around the country).
Alin is part of MMA team starting with 2002. Currently he’s also teaching marketing at the Academy of Economic Studies. Alin has over 4 years experience in the NGO sector.
Claudia holds a BA in Political Sciences and a MA in Project Management. With MMA team since 2000, Claudia coordinated the Research Department until September 2003 and has been involved in media monitoring and analysis programs, on different topics. Her main interest areas are methodology of social sciences, media and politics, values, attitudes and politics, and discrimination in mass media.
Luciana GHICA
Media Analyst
She is currently undertaking a Ph.D. in Political Science at the Central European
University (Budapest). With the AMP team since 2000, she was involved in several
programs concerning the press in the electoral campaign and the nationalist
message in mass media. Until September 2002, when she left the country for an
MA in Politics and the Political Economy of the Post-Communist Transition (CEU
- Budapest), she co-edited and presented with Mircea Toma the weekly TV show
"Of, presa mea!". At present, for the same TV show she carries out
the press analysis.
